Configuring Personal / Workgroup VFC to Use SQL Server Database

Personal / Workgroup VFC uses Firebird Embedded Database as the default database, Instead SQL Server can also be used as the database. To configure Personal / Workgroup VFC to work with SQL database, perform the following steps.

1.	After Installing Personal / Workgroup VFC Server, double click icon , Configure Personal / Workgroup VFC Server, from the desktop. This will launch Personal / Workgroup VFC Administrator Tools.

2.	Install SQL Server Database, refer here for more details to install sql database.

3.	Upgrade the default license with the new license file containing SQL database as one of the license component. Refer here for more details to upgrade license.

Make sure that SQL database is installed and license is upgraded first before configuring Personal / Workgroup VFC Server or entering the Setup Wizard.
