Dialing Rules Config

       Dialing Rules Config Form allows you to view and configure dialing rules for the Personal / Workgroup VFC server.  To access Dialing Rules Config Form, select Dialing Rules Config on the left. The Dialing Rules Config Form will appear on the right.

Country/region is the option to select the location from the list where the PBX is actually located.
Area Code indicates the area codes of the PSTN numbers in the country selected above.
To access an outside line, dial is the number that needs to be dialed before dialing the actual PSTN number.

 

       Click save to add a dialing rule.

 

       To add a new area rule, click on the newarearule button then set the new Area Code, select option either to include all prefixes within this area code or add the desired prefixes. Select the option Include the area code, when dialing phone number that contain the prefixes mentioned above. Click create button to create new area rule.

To update an existing dialing rule, click on the edit_icon icon on the target dialing rule. Click update to save the changes.
To delete an existing dialing rule, click on the delete_icon icon on the target dialing rule.
