Click Generic Mail Capture Server on the left to add new Mail Server and its associated Mail Account. This will display Generic Mail Server List on the right, as shown below.

Clicking
will display a New Generic Mail Server form. Fill the necessary fields as described below. Any POP3 + SMTP and/or IMAP accounts, hosted locally or remotely are supported.

For more details to enable IMAP or POP3 service on Gmail or configuring Gmail IMAP/SMTP client, click on the links specified in Administration Tools, as shown in above image. |
| • | Mail Server is the address of the incoming mail server to be used for email capturing. |
| • | Mail Server Port is the port on the mail server accepting client connections.. |
| • | SSL Connection indicates whether the connection requires SSL channel or not. Gmail and Yahoo both require SSL. |
| • | Mail Auth Type indicates the type of authentication required to connect to the mail server. It has various options as shown below. Select AuthLogin when using Gmail as the mail server. |

| • | Mail Protocol indicates the protocol used to retrieve all the emails i.e either Pop3 or Imap, as shown below |

On clicking
, this new server is added in the Generic Mail Server List, as shown below

Adding New Email Account Using IMAP Service
Clicking
will display a New Generic Mail Account form to add a Mail Account that uses IMAP as Mail Protocol.

| • | Mail Server is the address of the incoming mail server to be used for email capturing. |
| • | Username is the username to be used when connecting to the mail server specified above. |
| • | Password is the password required for the username specified above. |
| • | Password Confirm is the confirmation of password that was added above. |
On clicking
, a new window will be displayed, to add IMAP folders.

Click
& add the Inbox folder.

| • | Folder Name is the name of the folder on the mail server from where the emails are to be downloaded. |
| • | Folder Type is the type of folder. It has two options, Incoming & Outgoing, as shown below. Folder Type of Inbox folder is always Incoming. |

| • | Delete Email option when checked will delete the Email from the specified folder on the Mail Server. |
| • | Download Email option when checked will download the Email from the specified folder on the Mail Server. |
Click
to confirm. The image below shows that Inbox folder is added to the new generic mail account.

Click
& add the Sent Mail folder, make sure that Folder Type selected is Outgoing, as shown below.

Click
to confirm. The image below shows that Sent Mail folder is also added to the new generic mail account.

Adding New Mail Account Using POP3 Service
Clicking
will display a New Generic Mail Account form to add a Mail Account that uses POP3 as Mail Protocol.

| • | Mail Server is the address of the incoming mail server to be used for email capturing.. |
| • | Username is the username to be used when connecting to the mail server specified above. |
| • | Password is the password required for the username specified above. |
| • | Password Confirm is the confirmation of password that was added above. |
| • | Delete Email option when checked will delete the Email from the specified Mail Server. |
| • | Download Email option when checked will download the Email from the specified Mail Server. |
On clicking
, new generic mail account is added to Generic Mail Account List, as shown below.

Adding folders in not required for Generic Mail Account that uses POP3 Services but make sure that Capture Outbound Traffic Before Delivery option is checked when configuring SMTP Server. |
